Chic Mauve Wedding with Trendy Style

This chic Sparrow Lane wedding was full of trend-setting details ranging from a custom-designed pink suit jacket to an abundance of florals in the shades of whites, creams, and soft blush pinks to compliment the overall moody, mauve palette. Natural tones were brought into the overall wedding design using dried flora which looked stunning against the champagne bridesmaid dresses. Big, voluminous, reflexed roses were the stars of this show as they were the main focal flower for this entire design. The bridal bouquet was arranged with them but we can’t forget to mention the beautiful orchid that elevated this bouquet to a chic and modern masterpiece for our beautiful bride, Deanna. The roses also anchored their decor pieces; including the stunning asymmetrical ceremony arch that we can’t get enough of.

Asymmetrical wedding arches have become increasingly popular in recent years, revolutionizing the traditional concept of wedding decor. These stunning structures create a captivating focal point that adds a touch of whimsy, romance, and modern elegance to any wedding ceremony. These arches embrace a free-flowing and organic aesthetic. This creates a sense of movement and dynamism that is visually captivating and adds a unique personality to the wedding venue.

The asymmetrical design allows for an endless array of possibilities, as no two arches are the same. As a floral designer, I love playing with different shapes, sizes, and types of flowers, incorporating them in a natural and artistic manner. This gives couples the freedom to choose a color palette that matches their wedding theme, and allows for personalization that reflects their individual style.

Deanna and Client knew they wanted an overall chic, modern and trendsetter feel to their wedding day so we designed their asymmetrical arch with a display of natural beauties; adorned with a mesmerizing combination of roses and an array of carefully arranged dried flora. The gentle elegance of the white roses provided a classic touch, while the blush roses added a subtle hint of color and modern romance. Delicate bunny tails added soft, fluffy texture that contrasted beautifully against the neutral hues of the roses. Dried ruscus, known for its unique and intricate texture, was delicately intertwined throughout the arch, adding an unexpected touch of whimsy and intrigue. The palm leaves and baby’s breath tied everything together in perfect harmony.

This was the arch of our dreams and we had so much fun designing it! One of the benefits of asymmetrical floral arches is their versatility. Whether your wedding is small and intimate or grand and extravagant, these arches can be tailored to suit any venue size or location. They can be constructed both indoors and outdoors, making them adaptable to a variety of settings. This ceremony show-stopper was later repurposed to the fireplace at Sparrow Lane, and it set the stage for the reception decor. Bud vases graced the reception tables looking chic and whimsical in the clear glass vases.

We just love how everything came together for this beautiful wedding. It was such an honour blossoming Deanna and Clint’s vision, and was truly a highlight of our wedding season!
